I recently had the opportunity to conduct a interview with Bu Ku Dao and we discussed his chances at the winning the Shamrock Cup on July 19th in Joppa, MD. Him and his partner Bolt Brady go against Los Ben Dejos.
Q. What were your first thoughts when you found out you would be participating in the shamrock cup?
A. I don't deserve this, why me? There are many, many other wrestlers that are fantastic, more talented, and worked there asses off for opportunities like these...I'm one lucky son of a bitch.
Q. What would it mean to you and career if you won the cup?
A. It would make everything I've put into the sport of professional wrestling, worth it! It would mean I DID deserve to be a participant, that hard work pays off, and to NEVER count out the underdog.
Q. How does it feel to be some of the select few to participate in the cup with the amount of talent on the Indy scene?
A. I'm very, very grateful and feel blessed to be one of the lucky ones chosen to be in the cup; I'm not as talented as the other guys in this cup, but I'll do my best...always! Big thanks to my parents for having me.
Q. Who do you think your toughest competition will be?
A. The Los Ben Dejos. I can't look pass my first opponents, so they're the toughest competition (Bolt and) I have...then whoever makes it to the elimination match will be my next toughest.
Q. Any last thoughts or words for the other participants?
A. Good luck!
